I was very nervous, not having driven for a number of years and preparing to take a test. Jules put me at ease straight away and over the course of a few hours pointed out my faults and how to put them right. She set me a mock test which she marked critically, but it worked!! Sailed through the test with only 3 minors. Can't recommend Jules highly enough.
Fantastic Learning Experience
Couldn't believe I'd see myself driving at one point but with the help and experience of Jules I managed to get going! Jules had the constructive criticism and patience I needed to pass first time! I highly recommend

Jules is an excellent instructor who helped build my confidence from day one. Having never driven before, she explained everything that I needed to know. Getting to hand with understanding all aspects of driving came so quickly thanks to her visual aids and great explanations. The balance of professionalism and friendliness meant learning was a true enjoyment. We could always have a laugh when in the car and not once did I ever feel pressured into progressing if I wasn't ready. Her firm but fair attitude meant any mistakes that occurred where quickly resolved and helped prevent bad habits from forming. Her flexibility on times and dates meant I was able to fit my lessons in and around university and work which made learning even more positive and never did it feel like a chore. Jules made me feel so at ease, she boosted my confidence and always reassured me of my ability. Having passed first time with only 1 minor, I couldn't be happier, I will be forever grateful

I had a great experience with Jules of Eco Driving School. She helped me prepare well for the UK test, which thanks to her help, I was able to pass on the first try. I highly recommend her; she is personable, committed and very genuinely wants her students to succeed

Amazing Instructor! Could not have passed with a better Instructor at all, thank you so much Jules, you are an amazing teacher, I can't thank you enough. Would definitely recommend for someone who wants to have encouragement as well as being taught how to correctly drive rather than a vague idea!

I was always nervous about getting behind the wheel again after a bad experience with several instructors 5+ years ago. My friend at work had recommended Jules so after much thought I decided to take the plunge, I'm so glad I did. I was so negative about my abilities but Jules put my mind at rest.. She is firm but extremely fair and wants you to pass as much as you do yourself! I'm happy to say that thanks to Jules I passed first time in just under 6 months :) I can't recommend her enough
I passed with Julie 1st time after having failed my driving test a few times roughly 3 years ago. My confidence was rock bottom, I was very nervous and I didn't even want to get in the car again but Jules built up my confidence right from day 1. She would identify my weaknesses which we would then work on. With constant encouragement, I found my lessons extremely enjoyable. She is also the highest level grade 6 instructor which not many instructors are, also explaining why she's so good at her job! Thanks so much again Jules, I highly recommend her.

I came to Eco/Julie after being thoroughly disappointed with the standard of my AA instructor. Julie is a fantastic instructor, she gave a level of service and attention to detail I don't think you'll get with the large franchises. Julie has the right balance between professionalism and being personable which really puts you at ease in the car. Highly recommended from a first time passer

say a massive thank you to Julie for helping me to get my driving to the right standard and working on my weaknesses. There is no way that I could've passed if she hadn't helped me work on my problems, and she was so focused on building my confidence that it encouraged me to want to improve. Now I don't lack the confidence to drive that I did when I started having lessons. When I took my first lesson I was really nervous, but Julie was really helpful and brought out the confidence that i needed for driving. She is a brilliant instructor and was so patient with me, every time I made a mistake she showed me how to rectify it and brought my confidence back . I would definitely recommended her".

At twenty seven years old I was, quite frankly, totally embarrassed about the fact I hadn't yet learnt to drive. Having tried-and failed- to learn before I was certain that driving was something I'd never 'get the hang of'. How wrong I was. Julie's calm and sympathetic personality put me at ease right from the first lesson but even this was nothing compared to her incredible patience! Always smiling (something I've not seen in other instructors too often), I will always be indebted to Julie for teaching me to drive. I was sad when the lessons ended"!

Julie was an amazing instructor teaching me everything I needed to know. If I had any queries, Julie would answer them in a detailed explanation so I knew exactly what she meant. I passed my test in approx 4 months with Julie's expertise guidance and help along the way. We had a good laugh during our lessons which was great (even though multiple people like to do U-turns on mini roundabouts and mess me up!) I was able to manage with all situations that came my way and deal with it safely. Julie explained that your more likely to fail a mock practical test which was a bit worrying yet I gave it my best effort and came out with 9 minors which I was very pleased with. The day of my test came and I successfully passed with only 1 minor which I was extremely happy with!! I would highly recommend being taught by Julie as she's extremely helpful, I couldn't have done it without her. She's an amazing instructor and teaches you everything you need to know"!

After learning with several different instructors for 2 years I finally passed my test on my first attempt with Julie. The friendly and flexible enviroment helped me knuckle down and sort out the issues I had with driving. I was extremely happy to pass with only 3 minors. I was so nervous on the day of my test and Julie made me feel like I could do this and she gave me the belief.

Eco Driving School offers excellent value whilst building your confidence and continuously improving your skill to an advanced level ensuring that you are fully prepared. After doing several lessons with another driving school, I noticed a big difference almost immediately. Eco Driving School's solid, professional and friendly teaching style led me to improve my ability and swiftly pass my driving test first time with only four minors. I highly recommend Eco Driving School regardless of your current driving skill and especially if you want to pass you test first time with a genuinely knowledgable and expert driving instructor. Jules is an excellent instructor, she is a very patient and calm driving instructor which was really helpful even though my english isn't very good. She made some notes for me when I was on my driving lessons which I read and then put into practise on my next lesson. I passed my test in the first attemp with just 3 minor faults, I will definitely recommend her to any of my mates. Thanks Julie!.

Once I swapped over to Julie after my previous instructor I passed first time. Julie is an excellent instructor and is very friendly and made me feel at ease whilst learning to drive. Also I felt constantly reassure when my nerves started to kick in towards test date and throughout lessons. I would highly recommend her to anybody from around the area :) x

Julie is an excellent and very calm teacher. I did refresher lessons with her and she helped me get back up to standard very quickly and professionally. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to, highly recommend.
